A new exhibition has been launched at Build Studios, which showcases the work of the 2021 careers enrichment programme at Oasis Academy Southbank. The programme focused on careers in architecture and design, and related concepts, such as perspective, colour, pattern and 3D design.

The project is funded by The Walcot Foundation, and aims to introduce Year 7 pupils from diverse backgrounds to careers in the built environment sector and teach them design concepts and practical skills.

Despite being run through the pandemic, the programme reached 91 young people this year, through a combination of online and in-person teaching.

The content was designed by the Museum of Architecture’s School for Creative Thinkers. Next academic year, the content will focus on careers in development and planning.
