How to Write About Your Projects
1st March 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Writing about your projects is one of the best ways to win clients, attract attention and build your reputation. But different platforms need different approaches, so understanding your audience and striking the right tone is fundamental to growing your practice.
Over the course of two sessions, we’ll cover different ways of bringing your projects to life and getting them noticed. We’ll look at how to attract potential clients, engage journalists and make an impact on social media.
The first session will cover:
- Writing jargon-free project descriptions
- Writing blog posts that convey your energy and vision
- Coming up with snippets for Twitter and other platforms.
The second session will cover:
- Writing short, sharp copy that gets straight to the point
- Finding the stories that make your projects newsworthy
- Writing a press release.
This hands-on, two-session workshop will give you a fresh approach to writing about what you do, equip you with strategies for when you’re back at your desk, and show you how to make the most of all your projects.
